Saturday 19th . I’m excited but very nervous,I’m on a cocker spaniel fb group and most of the posts are dogs with fleas or worms or biting , this is worrying me a lot ,dd &dh say to stop going on there but I don’t know where else to look for advice,I’m so glad you’re all helping me on here

My dog has healthy human food at times too, chicken, scrambled egg, fish etc .
Have you tried cockersonline ? That’s a brilliant site .
Puppies can nip, Riley did for a short time when he was tiny , they soon learn though.

Next question :Is it alright to bath him the first day or do you have to wait for a certain age ?

I would let him settle for a few days with you first tbh.
The first couple of days he is getting used to you , he’s just left presumably his mum/ siblings etc and it will be overwhelming enough for him.

I’d only bath him if he really needs one. That goes for his whole life really.
I found a quick wet wipe of a whiffy puppy helpful
