Mobile Hard Rock Hotel Universal 2021 Prices!

Looking to stay there In August next year and costs look like over £400 a night at the mo (on every single site). Is this really the going rate now?

Yes. Has been for a while at peak time.

Remember the price is based in dollars so the weakness of sterling is having a major impact sadly

It is strange tho, the same number of nights, same days in 2020 are £286 a night.

Still hope it might come down!

We are looking to book Portofino for next August. Prices are sky high too! They usually are at this time, although it doesn’t stop me looking. It’s around November/Black Friday when you see the prices reduce and stay reduced. Universal doesn’t typically offer discounted rates until closer to the time of your stay.

For the last 3 years, it’s been £400 a night in July/early August as that’s when we always go. It’s peak time and in my experience the prices did not fall. 😥

If you can, get an annual pass (the most basic one is about same cost as 14 day pass) as the discounted hotel rates can be great. We paid £200 a night last October for Portofino.

The most basic annual pass at Universal does has blockout dates during August (although these have been lifted for this year) They might not be lifted for next year

We had booked a night at Hard Rock for our September holiday and it was £250. Asked about changing it to our new dates in February and it was £432! So we’ve just changed to Royal Pacific which is more reasonable. Seems mad that a hotel in peak Horror Nights season is less than March but I guess they must be busier with people rebooking from this year maybe?
