2020 Advent Calendars - reviews starting
Well its that time of year again when the "reviews" of the Advent Calendars for 2020 begin. Here is a link to one of the reviewers and at least they list the full contents so anyone can make up their minds if a certain brand is what they would like to buy or have as a gift. Note I don't say how good value ithey might be as I don't believe the majority are but something like M&S can be without costing the earth.
reallyree/advent-calendars/ I do hope Primark bring out their Bauble Calendar again. |

I've taken an idea my friend does every year and I'm doing my Daughter-in-law an advent calendar filled with a free item I have collected over the year for each day, it has to be a free item and not gifted to you or items from hotels etc

I may repurpose old box and go for GWP instead. At least GWP leaves me with few full size items

I bought a Swarowski one for myself already (via Wowcher) and a Marvel funky pop for my youngest DS. I dont mind if they are last year’s.
For my DH doing a scratch card calendar - putting a scratch card in an envelope for each day. Still have to figure out one more for 17 year old son...

That's a good idea Tigger71 - the contents won't go off and it is what is inside that counts so it being in last years box doesn't matter. Good idea for a bargain buy.
On This Morning they had a Christmas segment and it featured some Advent Calendars - a Harry Potter Hogwarts Express beauty calendar £40, Macmillan £85 and Soap and Glory £42 all at Boots (no reak mention of content). Edited to add link to Boot Top 10 Advent calendars - includes the Harry Potter one you/boots-top-10-a...alendars-2020/ Edited at 03:29 PM. Reason: To add Boots Advent Calendar link |
