For all of you Dibbers going soon who are also AA members.

Here's a link to an AAA Discount Card NOW UNDATED so INDEFINITE).

UPDATED TO NEW NON EXPIRY DATE AAA TEMP CARD LINK:
Just print it off or save it,re-adjust size and print.

It is ONLY valid IF you show it WITH your current AA Card.

This link was for the IRISH AA club (Code 434) ONLY BUT the new discount card is valid for any international club members, including the UK.

IF you check the AA,UK website and sign in as a member, I'm sure there will be 1 there for you to print (if you do a search) with the UK Club Code.
If not don't worry as loads of people have used their UK AA card WITH the Irish Code AAA Card.

The AA a few years ago use to issue a small booklet on discounts and inside was a AAA Show Your Card which you could cut out, not sure if they still issue those booklet's.

We used our plastic AA card at GAP Outlet earlier this year, also read that some AAA members have managed to received 15% off at the Earl of Sandwich in Downtown Disney, it's hit or miss but worth trying.

Yep

That was me. The E of S were confused when I showed the AA card and tried to tell them it was the same as AAA, but the minute I produced the Temp AAA Discount card WITH the AA card, they gave me 15% off.

Just done a UK search and also no luck, the web-page theaa/rewards/offers/arc-europe.jsp gives info on the Show Your Card scheme and you'll need to log in with your AA member number and postcode to access a list of shopping, restaurants, travel and hotel discounts. Can also be used in Canada.

The United Kingdom AA Club Code is 428 whereas AA Ireland's Club Code is 434, but I don't think that will matter.

Here's some of the listed discounts on AAA
Appleton's Café: Save 15% on food, non-alcoholic beverages and catering services.
Aquatica; Members save up to 11% on admission
Gap Outlet: 10% discount on all purchases, including sale merchandise.
