A complete curve ball
You might of seen a few of my threads about October 2022 and I was starting to draw plans up when Royal Caribbean announced my Aug 21 European cruise is cancelled. They said I can switch it for no price change to a different one in any part of the world.. So I’m now looking at a week RC cruise from Florida to tag onto Disney.
The only things causing me a headache is that 1. It will mean going in August instead due to school holidays and travel restrictions on the swap. I am really not sure on August 2. Is this going to make things really complicated trying to marry this all up? |

1. Never done August
2. Booked a cruise independantly to tag onto a disney holiday many times. It isn't a problem assuming you drive.

Excited about Disney

I'd maybe not consider cruising Florida in August as it's hurricane season. Can be a bit hit and miss weather wise.

We went August the other year - did 5 nights universal, 4 nights Indian Shores then to Miami for the cruise to the Bahamas and Coco Cay.
Just go to Coco Cay- it’s amazing.

Thanks all! I have moved my cruise from Europe to the Caribbean for no change in cost. Will be sailing out of Port Canaveral in October and will do around 10 nights before that in WDW. So excited!
Now just to start thinking about flights. Have a throw away booking with Disney direct already so will amend that but not sure if I need to wait until Quidco have finished tracking |
