The forum ate most of my comment for some reason. I'll try again...

We have stopped at the residhome aparthotel a few times. It is over the road from the Ibis and has larger rooms. The bedroom was sectioned off with a couple of pull out beds. Our two teenagers were happy and we had a place to unwind. The small kitchenette was fully functional with dishwasher, hob, fridge , microwave and plenty of crockery. We shopped for our own breakfasts and had food in for a late night snack.

Just like the Ibis it is opposite the "back entrance" to the station.

Can I ask a silly question? Where is the back entrance to the station exactly? We have always entered by the area which has the square of restaurants around it and I’m wondering if there was a short cut we missed

It is through the area where the buses go.

If you are on the platform at Val d’Europe, instead of exiting the usual way, go the opposite direction. Go up the stairs (no lift, and only a down escalator) and over the bridge. When you come out of the station the Ibis is facing you.

What do you think the odds are of us being able to travel to DLP during May. I have a booking for arrival 30 May but as one of our group is a teacher and unable to quarantine for 10 days on return, we are thinking to move the booking to October half term.

Thanks for all your hotel suggestions. I’ve checked prices and hotel Santa Fe came up cheapest which was surprising. it’ll be nice to be back at a Disney hotel - it’s been a few years. No doubt we’ll be back in Val d’europe in the future
