Reading this thread brings home how much I love the early mornings. Some times it’s a little difficult to get up, but in 3 weeks time I actually can’t wait for the early morning jet lag and to be up at the crack of dawn. Best time of the day

If day shift I’m up at 5.15, out of the house at 6 to start at 7. I’m usually in bed between 11 pm and midnight but sometimes still awake at 1am.
If night shift I’m home by 9am in bed by 10am and then up at 15.30. |

When i lived and worked in the U.K. up at 6am for an 8am theatre shift.
Now we have our small farm , here in Spain, mornings are led by the rising of the sun, in the summer up by 5.30am We tend to rise just long before sunrise to do the animals etc walk dogs and to get jobs done before the intense heat starts at around 10am. In the afternoons in the summer months we siesta between 2-4. Then more jobs etc. Bed about 11pm Winter not up until 7am. Darker cooler mornings means that we can lie in and get jobs done staggered over the day. No siesta in the winter unless exceptionally tired. Animals etc usually all on bed by 7pm. Evenings in front of log burner bed by 10pm. We are very seasonal led and I think our health is actually better for it |

waiting impatiently...!

My alarm is set for half 7 but it never goes off as I'm always up somewhere between half 5 and half 6... even at weekends when I'm not working. I love the light, bright (and most importantly quiet) mornings in the summer but not the cold dark ones that are here all too soon.

For me it varies on where I work but it’s generally 5am on a Monday and then between 5/30-6:30 the rest of the week!

8.11am. I WFH. So as long as I am ready for 9am it’s ok.
