Finally we have exchanged, it is really happening and very quickly now!

We move out on 15th, drop off old keys and get new keys on 16th and our stuff arrives on the 17th!

My work has been lovely and were fine about me leaving next Monday. I have already booked the roofer to confirm their quotes and will be phoning other people today to do the drain issue and to quote for bathrooms. Last night I spent doing mail redirection, fuels, council tax, water and booking hotels.

Just can't wait to get in now, I hate this period before something exciting, I'm the same with holidays!

Aww its a stressful time but doesn't feel like it was once youve moved! We had a really stressful end, we found out the week before we were due to move the people buying the house below us didn't have s mortgage in place! Move got delayed, then the week before the 2nd date then people below us were asked for documents she had told them months before she didn't have!
Anyway we got there eventually!

Don't wish to be a debbie downer, but don't commit to any spending until you have completed and the keys in your hand. Chains can fall apart after exchange, rarely, but it can happen. If the chain is just you and your seller, unlikely, but if a longer chain - refrain from committing
