DLP and child age
Hi all,
If I'm not booking transportation with DLP is there any reason why I couldn't put my daughter down as 12 rather than 11? Will her passport and age be checked at the hotel, she would be 12 four months after we travel anyway. The reason for this, the deal has free half board and it looks like the child menus are up to age 11 and in a lot of cases I think my daughter would much prefer the adult set menu option to the childs where it's a sit down restaurant. If she is 12 I assume her vouchers would be for the adult menu not the child menu? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. The cost difference is very small.

They do often check passports on check in. Sometimes they only want to see one person's but on a few occasions they've asked to see them all and check these against the booking (this has happened on our past two trips so I don't know if it's a recent thing where they are being more stringent). So personally I wouldn't take the risk of putting an incorrect date of birth down, it's just not worth the risk of being caught and potentially having some difficult questions to answer on check in.

Thanks. Hmm, I might call and ask if I can pay the difference for her to be on the adult plan, see if its an option they can offer.
It seems a lot of child menu options are pasta and tomato sauce or a burger, its quite limited really, she would enjoy the adult options more.
