I also loved it, we were often given the choice... sandwich spread or grey meat paste on our white slab of bread with disgusting margarine. Always chose sandwich spread... always...

After the first few replies I thought I was going to be the only one who likes it.

I used to buy it when I worked in Asda and had to hide it from DH otherwise he’d eat it all

Absolutely love it! Live in France now and always get stocked up when we come to visit! Seeing that picture has made my mouth water! Can't beat a sick spread sarnie!

I liked it as a teenager in the 80s. I did feel that I shouldn’t like it from the look of it but it went well with cheese as I remember. Haven’t had it for years.
