Home exercise- who is doing what

Hi all,

I’m trying to get inspired to exercise at home. I am not a runner and use our outside time to see to our horses.
Anyone having any success? I’m sat on my bum on the laptop eating chocolate most of the day!

We did the Joe Wicks PE for the first couple of weeks which is a pretty good workout (and he has loads of others on his youtube page). Now, we're mostly just going for a walk every day and the kids sometimes run around/play in the garden. OH is doing pilates online once a week with his regular teacher.

DH has walked the dogs 5 miles today even the Frenchie
In his man cave run 10k on the tread mill and is currently on a 5k virtual bike ride
But that’s the norm for him if he’s not golfing going to the gym etc
Me I walk the dogs and swim can’t do either due to shielding etc
DS using weights the tread mill and walking the legs of the dogs and wearing out the wheels on gds buggy

I'm hardly doing anything, need to start :| DH is being good though, he has started doing about 25k on the exercise bike each morning.

I am going out for my daily walk with the dog and I also do free you-tube videos by ' Bodyfit by Amy' I have been doing her workouts for about 3 years now. Mixture of bodyweight, dumbbells and kettlebells.

I'm still eating more chocolate than I should

Fit steps in the kitchen. Cats look at me and wonder what the hell im doing. Some days go a walk or a bike ride but I do have to do some Pilates or I seize up like crazy.

I do 20k on my exercise bike every morning then go for an hour walk "after work" I normally do nothing. Working from home has some benefits!

I usually go to the gym three times a week to do a mixture of cardio and weights, and really missed this at first. I tried a joe wicks PE session, but that nearly killed me, so I moved on to Pilates I have quite enjoyed. I’m now doing a walking based exercise (in the house) and am enjoying that. That’s all I do though, other than walking between my chair in the garden and the kitchen!
