Chinese takeaway here- our normal go to for New Year’s Eve. Just watched a film and about to play games but the dog has just thrown up everywhere so have stopped the fun to do a quick clean up!

For us normally its a buffet over at my sisters house ...we're in tier 4 so not allowed,so we've had T bone steak with all the trimmings ,and a slice of Colin the caterpillar for pud lol ...Got a roast beef joint for tomorrow lunch .

Takeaway Curry 😋😋 we usually have this on NYE 🤩🥳🍾🥂

Delivered so didn’t have to brave the cold, 🥶ordered at 5.30 came at 7pm 😋😋

We had Nandos but I bought some creamy mushrooms in M&S and they were the best! Roast chicken tomorrow with all the trimmings, we are going to start clucking! 🐔

We usually go out for a meal but couldn’t this year so I cooked chicken fajitas then fell asleep on the sofa til ten to midnight

I used the last of the ham up in a ham and leek 'shepherds pie' with the remains of Colin Caterpillar afterwards

We had steak with a Marsala red wine and mushroom sauce, with tempura battered courgettes, batton carrots, onion rings and parmentier potatoes. All home done. Was lovely! Never ate the pud though!

Today we’re having home made lasagne and salad. We’d normally have a roast on New Year’s Day but we’ll be having a roast on Sunday.

Turkey and ham pie from leftovers, red cabbage, dauphinoise potatoes and green beans. I made a sticky toffee but none of us wanted it. Maybe tonight 😋
