Bridesmaids Dresses Question?!
Hi All,
I've done barely anything for my wedding this August (argh) and have only just asked my Bridesmaids to be bridesmaids... and so starts my dilemma! I have seen some lovely and reasonably priced dresses in Debenhams but now have an issue as one of the girls doesn't think that size 22 will be big enough for her The Debenhams dresses I like are £65-£79, the other option would be something like Berketex, which goes up to a size 40, but the dresses are £129-£149! big difference (especially when there are 4 bridesmaids). If that's what I have to pay then that's what I have to pay, I'll just have to take money out of something else as I would hate to make my friend feel uncomfortable- but does anyone have any other suggestion of where I could get Bridesmaids dresses for under £100 that would go up a bit higher than size 22? I get the impression she'd only need a little bigger than that (she'll be 3 months post birth so actually we have no idea what size she'll be but her mum can tweak anything that get's bought if it ends up being too big). Thanks in advance! Amanda xx

Well I'm thinking all knee length, 2 of the girls in a v neck and 2 in something with a higher neck.
I've been thinking of pink but finding it almost impossible so now just wondering if I should just go black!

have a look at lindybop, they do 50's style dresses at really resonable prices and the sizes are really good, think they go up to a 22 but to be honest i got a size smaller than i would normally, its very stretchy thick cotton.
lots of colours too and different necks, the high necked 'audrey' is very cute hope you find something! |
