Meeting characters

Hello just m wondering what sort of queues to expect when wanting to meet characters at Disney? Thanks

It�s really mixed. Princesses, Minnie and Mickey can be long but you can get a fastpass. But there are plenty of others with shorter queues.

Sign up to kenny the pirates charactor locator which tells you were the meets will be. For some of the popular characters you will have to queue for 30 mins or so but you can get lucky and be in the right place at the right time which happened to us quite a lot. Around World Showcase especially we were able to meet various characters with a minimal wait time purely by chance.

Winnie the Pooh is currently meeting in Christopher Robin's bedroom at the UK pavilion at Epcot. He appears at 11.30. I got there about 11.45 last month and there were only a few people in front of me so it's not a bad time to get there, I waited about 10 minutes. I've got Kenny the Pirate's character locator and found out about that M&G several days before it appeared on there.

Really variable- Be careful of the characters who are only there for short timed periods-ie Bell/Jasmine in Epcot- sometimes the line will close before they even come out- usually on busy days when they are visible to passers by

We met Mickey and Minnie in animal kingdom last week and there was nobody else waiting, tinkerbell was 5 minutes and Winnie the poo was walk up too, to be honest 20 minutes for Aladdin was the longest queue we saw!

MK is good for pop up character meets. I got there at lunchtime one day last month and Phineas and Ferb were there! I love those little chaps and did of course ask where Perry was

😊 We were at Epcot tonight & decided to look in character spot at 8.45pm, it was EMPTY... As a result the characters made a big fuss of my daughter & even took it upon themselves to group together for a photo with her!

Also depends when you are travelling. Summer school holidays and some M&G will be touching on an hour wait.
