"Magic hours" - please help!

Hey Dibbers, first time poster here.

I'm going to all the Florida Disney parks next year (long wait I know), but I am too excited not to plan.
This will be for the second time for me, and this time we are determined to plan it thoroughly.
This site has been really helpful so far, but I'm new and I need some advice from you people!

I'm confused about the Magic Hours thing. I would like to know about BB and TL - do they open an hour early every day, some days, or what? I've looked it up on various sites but they all seem to say something different.

Can someone please, please explain it clearly for me? How does the magic hours scheme work, what do I need for it (beside a place in the resort), how do I find out the schedule, and how are we expected to plan our days without knowing where to be at what time?
Don't want to be standing at every theme park an hour early just in case.

Hi, theme park hours are listed on this site, on the menu on the left, and the magic hours are noted in the same place, these vary by month. I have never heard of magic hours for water parks though..

For a good guide to EMH, read this article on the DIBB guidebook. And as Madhatter said, the Park Hours link above shows which parks are subject to EMH and on which days

EMH for the water parks are currently only once a week for each water park. In the off peak season they do not have EMH at all. You can get the park hours for all 4 theme parks and the 2 water parks from the Dibb or Disneyworld.com

Disney website has all EMHs on thier calanders for each park, they don't go that far ahead yet it is normally one park a day early and one late opening. The water parks do open an hr early one day a week also on EMH. The calanders show what shows are on too like Fantasmic etc.
