Visit Hogwarts without doing HP & FJ?

We are heading to Disney & US in August with our 2 kids - they are 9 & 6 and desperate to do all things Harry Potter but the 6 year old is only 116cm - my guidebook says you need to be 122cm to do the Harry Potter & the Forbidden Journey Ride.

My question is, can she queue with us all, so she still gets to see the inside of Hogwarts? It wounds so amazing - I'd hate for her to miss out.

If so, would my husband and I then do the parent swap (and does the 9yo get to ride twice?!)

Yes your DD will be able to walk through Hogwarts with you - the parent swap room is where the ride loads. I can't answer your question about whether or not your eldest would get to ride twice, but I'd like to think he would be able to so that you (or your DH) don't have to ride alone

The first time we went we left our youngest (6 at the time) outside with his Grandparents while we rode. I was gutted afterwards that he'd missed out as the theming inside is really impressive.

Thankfully we've since been again and he came with us that time!
