HOP - where can we meet him?

Bought this on DVD during the week and DS8 is obsessed! Am I right in saying you can meet him at Universal? Anyone know where?

Universal is fantastic for random characters being out and about or doing what seem like pretty spontaneous meet and greets - we accidentally saw Dora, Diego, Hop, Gru and the minions who just appeared as we were walking around!

When we were there in 2012 we were in US quite early and were just wandering around when the float with the hop characters just pulled up and they got off dancing in street to the music, it was really good there were only us and another family my son got to meet all the characters, had photos and danced with them it was probably the best character meet we've ever had.

DD loved it at universal, there were loads of character opportunities, they come out for short amount of time several times, we met curious george, which she loved! Also she freaked out green goblin by giving him a kiss! She also danced with Vector, she likes the bad guys! Great interaction with characters. We sadly missed EB, she would have loved that!
