A Sad News Day.

I am so try to not heat this news, always heartbreaking, but always worse when you are away x I hope your wife and her sister are ok

So very sorry to hear your sad news Tom. My mum had a similar call when we were all on our first Florida holiday together 10 years ago. We knew we had to carry on with the holiday as ‘Grandma’ would’ve been devastated to think she’d spoilt it in any way. Obviously our remaining days were tinged with sadness but in a way being away helped us deal with the grief as we could begin to process it slowly before facing life back in the UK without her.

I agree with you. This is the 3rd time sadly.

I was with my Parents in Canada in 1979 and my Dad rang to speak to his Mum to find she had died two days before. No way of getting in touch with us pre mobile days.

We flew out in 2015 the day after my Mum died

Now this sad news.

However nothing can be done by being at home and I am already dealing with matters albeit from a distance. Our Son being tasked with our wishes
