A Fleeting Visit To WDW - Hollywood Studios Take Two

We are here at Hollywood Studios again today.

First stop to Toy Story land.

Onto Slinky Dog Dash

We are now on a VIP private tour of Hollywood Studios with a focus on Galaxy Edge and Toy Story land.

The land is subtly separated into three areas: one for the resistance, one for the scoundrels and one for the new order.

Spot the hidden millennium falcon.

Time for a go on smugglers run.

Hidden Mickey on the side of the TV set.

A campaign to sign up to the rebellion.

The cantina has two flags one for the rebellion and one for the new order which shows that it serves both groups.

Character interaction.

We tried both the blue and green milk. I didn't expect to enjoy it at all but the blue milk was delicious and really refreshing. The green one was pretty good too.

We had a little look around the droid shop. These little two made me really want to buy one but I do not have the money or space in the suitcase.

We got to hold the lightsabers which were pretty weighty

Back on smugglers run again!

Fun fact: when you exit smugglers run there are three lights. The third line shows you have you did on the ride. Red means you did poorly, flashing green means you did ok and solid green means you did great!

In this shop they have small dolls of the older Star Wars characters like Yoda and Leia. These are sold as legends and are the only shop you can find these characters in.

Onto Toy Story land for slinky dog dash.

The price tag is the date and year the first Toy Story film was released.

Spot the hidden Mickey!

Onto Toy story Midway Mania!

We then headed back to Galaxys Edge to the Docking Bay 7. We were pleasantly surprised by the food here! I had the Braised Shaak Roast.

Mum had the Smoked Kaadu Ribs.

Dad had the Yobshrimp noodle salad.

Stu had the Fried Endorian Tip-Yip.

The cargo has the years of the first three films on.

Third and final go on smugglers run!

We then got some of the sweet and spicy popcorn and the Star Wars drinks. The popcorn was a lot better than expected.

We never understood what the dinosaur was for in the lake in the park. This is Gertie, he inspired Walt as he was the first character to show emotion and the artist was a close friend of Walt's.

Now time for my favourite ride!

Hilarious photo of us all

Then onto rock n rollercoaster. This really throws my head around.

No trip to Hollywood Studios is complete without a trip to the Little Mermaid.

We decided to head home and then go for a swim in the pool. Then we grabbed some Pizza from the Boardwalk.

We are grabbing a drink at Abracadabar

I got the Seashore Sweet.

Mum got the Hoodunit Punch.

An amazing day finding out lots of interesting details particularly about Galaxys Edge.
