Mobile Uber or Lyft?

What are people opinions of the two taxi services? Is there much between them?

Hi,
Personally I found lyft the better of the 2, I found the app was very straightforward and very accurate on wait times, we even used a few times last year when we stopped at BC when buses were full, we got a lyft to MK in cpl of minutes and got dropped off at the contemporary and found it brilliant after our MVMCP, not having to battle crowds on Disney transport, picked up again from contemporary and back at BC in no time.

Nick

If using for the first time, you can often get sign up deals with 20% or more off so often worth downloading both and using the offers if you can get them- they do tend to be time limited so if you have not downloaded either app , wait until you get there

As above, both as good as each other really, just go for whichever has the best discount at the time.

Many of the drivers operate both for Lyft and Uber , so it comes down to which app you like and any discounts. We used Lyft and found it quick and efficient. The new user discounts helped it was $4 off first x rides , current list of codes lyft/promo-coupon-code-free-rides

Would you like to supply contact information for a 'proper' cab company in Orlando and some example prices.

We used Uber and had no issues at all. Very convenient! Rides were available with usually only a few mins wait and were value for money we thought.

Never used Lyft but as another poster mentioned many of the drivers work for both companies so Im sure there isnt much between them.
