I used to think nandos was priced well, however after a recent visit, I thought it seemed more expensive for still the same no frills experience.

We had one the other day and it was awesome lol. I guess everything goes up in price, but we still find Nandos is good value. For about £22 we can both have a filling and tasty meal.

My problem with Pizza Express is also that you can get the home cook pizzas in the supermarkets and to me they taste largely the same as in the restaurant. So if I'm going to eat pizza express I'll just cook one at home.

The list goes on and on of not too bad companies, that have taken too much debt and are now struggling to service it.

Pizza Express looks to be a decent business, unlike Jamie's Italian for example (which is in my view wrongly being quoted in the same stories), but just has too much debt- much of it to its 'parent company' at 10% interest pa. mmmmm
Those are all quite different examples, the original article struck me as lazy journalism based on regurgitating stuff from twitter in a way that just misleads people that Pizza Express is suddenly as problematic as Thomas Cook (which had been going bust forever) which is why I posted

Agree PE is a better business, owners have a problem with the interest > profit but that could quickly be solved hopefully without closing branches (but no doubt they'll take the excuse to close a few anyway!).

Most branches are not halal, only a few where there is enough demand.
