Las Vegas flight options
Looking at going back to Vegas next year and potentially a Pacific Coastal cruise.
This year we flew with Thomas Cook From Manchester (this meant a domestic flight from Aberdeen and an overnight stay). We the. Flew Southwest to Orlando and did a week cruise. We should have flown back with TC but were put on a CAA flight home which was operated by Virgin. I have to say we found the Virgin flight really uncomfortable in comparison to TC but are blaming that on the fact we had the two seats booked (2/4/2 configuration). Obviously TC isn’t an option and there are no direct flights from Scotland. So, from what I can see our options are: Virgin from Manchester BA from London KLM from Amsterdam Are any of those greatly better or worse than the other? Any other options I should be considering? Also, if anyone has done that particular cruise was it good? We’ve only cruised with Royal and Marella (Marella experience has made me cautious of trying another line) but OH really fancies the itinerary. |

KLM / Delta via Amsterdam is a route we often use from our local airport. Would have to be something special to get me on a BA flight. Too many bad experiences (most cramped configurations and worst service) through work booking them to do it for pleasure.
Not usually found Virgin to be a bad experience, |

We flew Manchester to Las Vegas with Virgin in August and couldn't fault it.

Thanks, we are from north east Scotland (north of Dundee, south of Aberdeen) so our nearest airport is Aberdeen closely followed by Edinburgh.
We flew: Aberdeen - Manchester - Las Vegas Vegas - Orlando Orlando - Glasgow This year all with TC - well, we flew home with Virgin. I’m just not sure of all the options now. We couldn’t fault TC and loved the sets of two seats that we always booked. |
