Discovery Cove Ultimate Swim

We have just received our Discovery Cove Ultimate Swim E Tickets from Florida Escapes.

Our date for First Ever Ultimate Swim with Dolphins at DC is in early August and we are really looking forward to it.

In addition to the day at DC we have 14 days unlimited access to Busch gardens, Seaworld and Aquatica. We can supposedly start using the E Ticket up to 14 days before our allocated day at DC.

Has anyone had a problem when they present their E Ticket at the gate, especially if they have visited Seaworld, Busch Gardens or Aquatica before the date of their Ultimate swim.

When is the best time to turn up at DC for our Dolphin Swim experience please?.

Do any Dibb members have any tips for making the most of our day please?.

No its fine. There is a barcode on your print out. Just head for the entrance line, scan your barcode and in you go. The machine even welcomes you by name. You will have no problem using them before you have been to Discovery Cove.

Best time to arrive at DC we thought is around 07.15 - 07.30am. You should get an 8.40 swim time, then you have the rest of the day to relax and not be clock watching. Don't worry you will have plenty of time for breakfast before the swim. Although the park states it only opens at 8.00, they actually open around 07.15 and breakfast is served from 07.30.

Best tip? As above, get there early.

Hi there!

There is no problem turning up and using the eTickets at the other parks at any point prior to you visit to DC. Our eTickets last year were "Turnstile Ready" and you just scanned the barcode on the ticket. However - I was awkward as usual and needed the DC day to be a surprize but needed to go to SW before DC - no problem, just went up to guest services (on some or other pretence) and got given printed SW tickets so the cat did not jump out the bag! After you visit DC you will be given plastic photo cards for use at the other parks. So, don't worry it all works out!

As others will say - get there as early as possible, we were there between 7.00 and 7.30 and had the choice of the slots and seaventure. (Try to get and early Dolphin Swim).

Best tip for the day - relax and enjoy it! You will not regret it!

We haven't used E Tickets before and usually buy real tickets if possible.

Less than 100 days to go now until our vacation in Florida.
