Highs and lows of our 5th trip to Florida Marco Island day 3 injuries and sea fishing

We got up early as today we had chartered a boat to go sea fishing.
Lily woke up after last nights adventures with a swollen nose and mouth.
We all got dressed, packed a cool box with water and left the villa around 7.30am
We drove to the Crabby Lady restaurant where the captain had arranged to meet us at 8am.
Mark has wanted to go sea fishing in florida for a long time but as of yet we haven't done it. We have booked to go shark fishing so the captain of the boat arranged to meet us in a place that would enable us to catch sharks.
He was very good and worked so hard to put us onto good fishing spots. We travelled around 5 miles off shore to start fishing.
It wasn't long before James caught a black tipped shark!

Later Mark caught a saw fish, this was around 15 foot long and weighed around 300 pounds!

Both James and Lily fished and the captain worked hard with different rods and bait to make sure we caught as much as possible.

After a while the fish stopped biting so the captain moved us to another spot.
Mark hooked another massive fish and he worked for half an hour trying to bring it in. Just as we started to see it in the water the line snapped and it got away.
It was another saw fish and it was bigger than the one that he had caught earlier.

We moved to another couple of spots and the views were lovely!

We then moved to the mangroves to fish under the trees. We caught lots of catfish and mangrove snapper. Lily did a great job of catching a grouper and a Jack fish.

We paid for six hours on the boat and caught some amazing fish but the captain was unhappy the fact that the fish weren't feeding as much as they should be, so he kept fishing until around 3 PM

After the fishing we went back to the villa for a snack, we got changed and walked around 25 minutes to the dolphin tikki bar. We all ordered food and Mark and I both had a cocktail.
We had dinner before getting an uber back to the villa. Once Back we sat by the pool to watch the storm pass over

Once the storm had passed James and Lily got into the pool for a night time swin.
It has been a long and lovely. Day..
