Authentic American Diner?

Heading back out to Orlando next year and I would love to go to an authentic American diner! You know the type - just like you see in the movies 😂 Does such a place exist in the Orlando area?! Not a chain. Just a real individual place.
We will be staying at Highlands Reserve 😃

For breakfast and lunch try Egg City, from Highlands Reserve its south on the US27 takes about 20 minutes nikkoseggcity/

Unfortunately they will be few and far between most of the American dining experience is done on a franchise basis,my choice would be Waffle House

I know it is not strictly what you are looking for, but I'd suggest Denny's as most have a diner set up with high tops, booths and tables.

It's a chain but Johnny Rockets milkshakes are amazing ! The interior is just like The Fonze lol and they have little juke boxes which unfortunately don't work on each table !

I’d also say Eggcity at Haines City. Food is good, they only do breakfast and lunch and the decoration is like a 50s diner.

Dennys is a great option - not necessarily traditional but its got that "diner" feel and good food options - breakfast especially
