Yes Mickey can talk, I just seen this today on one of the RSS feeds and remembered this thread... had to post before work for you all! I believe both clips are from Disneyland.
Both videos show Mickey talking, moving his mouth and interacting with crowd and individual children. Oh wow - that is absolutely fantastic.
I hope they can introduce a "talking Mickey" soon, my son would love this (and hopefully while he is still young enough to "believe" )

we were told this on our KTTKT in january. They were looking to expand the technology used in the show in front of the castle to be able to talk 'on command'. Was hinted that it may take some time though but looks like they may have cracked it.
