We found most things to be a walk on, particular once it got near 7pm and the crowds started to thin out. Big Thunder Mountain in the dark was a definite highlight!

Edit - I don't recall anything being closed but I could be wrong

We had such good fun, it was a really good night. And the amount of sweets we brought back 6kg between 6 of us! My only regret is that us adults didn't dress up, but at least the boys did.

If you want to see more info, I wrote about it in my trip report here

Can't wait to do this! Is it best to do it on the 31st, or does it not matter? Eagerly awaiting dates...

The longest line for a ride onMNSSHP was -we found- Haunted Mansion and that was no problem as its a fast loader anyway.

Halloween night, on BTM, in the dark is brilliant - especially when you're in a Princess Leia costume and you got to hold the wig on your head to stop it flying off !

The longest queue we saw was to get your photo taken with the 7 dwarves. We were in it about 45 - 55 mins before it was due to open and we were about 20th in the queue. Once we had our photo taken we walked passed the queue and it was enormous

31st usually sells out so will be the busiest night out of the lot.

I'd say do it as early into your holiday as you can - it shouldn't feel any different as all the parades/fireworks/characters/trick or treats are the same and everyone still dresses up

FWIW, the queues for the rides are pretty much non-existent on a average night. We had a boat to ourselves on POTC around 7pm, and only 1 other person in a boat on Splash Mountain after the parade.
