Cheaper to buy tickets in Orlando?
Hi everyone,
Off to Florida in 24 days! It’s been 5 years since we last went to Disney and we got a better price buying our tickets in Orlando at a ticket agent. I think even Wal-Mart sold the tickets then. Is this still the case? There seem to be a lot of different deals in different websites but we really don’t want to be at parks every single day so feel the 14 day ultimate ticket would just be a waste of money despite the flexibility. We would probably only do 3 or 4 days Disney and typhoon lagoon 1 day. Would we be better off buying tickets once we get there? If so (or not) can anyone offer any advice? Many thanks in advance. |

With the poor exchange rate, I don’t think it would benefit you buying them in the US. The UK have one of the best value tickets you can get.

If you are only wanting to do a few days at Disney have a look at the Magic Your Way tickets. We have always found them the best deal for us. They have the options of just the one park in one day, the hopper and also the ones with the waterparks. We usually get ours from Orlando Attractions, great service and good prices.
Have a fab holiday |

Disney "Magic Your Way" tickets with the water park option add-on are;
3 days - £292 4 days - £346 A 14 day Ultimate is circa £355. (prices from Orlando Attractions). Bit of a no-brainer for me personally but it depends on if you really will ONLY do the 4 days.

Back in the golden days (pre-internet) we rocked up without tickets and, i think, brought them at a tour desk in the hotel!
These days I just don't think it's worth the time and effort to, at best, save a few pennies. That said, I've just noticed Attraction Tickets Direct (my regular recommendation) are currently selling a Disney 2-Day Ticket for £184. Perhaps that might be suitable? |
