Question from the future...
This is my first time going to Florida and I'm a bit nervous. I've never hired a driver-less car before, what do recommend for entertainment on the drive to the hotel or do you just get some extra sleep?

you will be too busy calling the car hire company to cancel all the extras you unwittingly signed up, worrying about whether the cashless tolls recognise the payment chip imbedded in your brain and asking yourself why you bothered getting that international driving permit that the guy in the office who has never been out of the country told you was needed to hire a car

You hired a car? Amateur. I'll be tele-porting direct to the hotel from my house.

This is turning into the four Yorkshire men sketch, only in reverse.
Right, we had even easier... I'm not leaving at all... I'm just going to enter my virtual reality Disney from the comfort of my own shoebox! P.S. For those with a scientific inclination, teleportation is effectively death! I'll leave it to you to Google that |

Mileage will vary, but personally, we will use the time to pre-pay the (exorbitant) drop-off fee, opting for ejection within 100 metres of reception... its an affordable compromise.
And before anyone has a pop, I do realise some folk prefer to pay the driverless car drop off fee, to keep resort costs down. I do get that... hotel pool access is pricey. |
