Not so Happily Ever After

I was one who was disappointed Wishes was ending. On first viewing I didn't think Happily Ever After was good but having viewed a few times now I think it is a fantastic replacement. I preferred the music of Wishes but loved the nod to it in the new show.

The fireworks are much better in new show but like others have said it relies heavily on projection mapping on the castle so need to see it front on to get the full show now.

I agree! I just said exactly the same thing - far too many fireworks and lasers going off at once, not in tune with the music, most of it was just an easy mish mash of Disney songs... very disappointed.

Absolutely gutted Wishes had gone - was planning on seeing it on our wedding night but now I'm lost as watching random fireworks going off to a load of Disney songs doesn't have any romance / specialness to it at all for me

I'm just hoping watching it live makes a difference, but at the moment, its not something I would plan my visits around like Wishes was

We first saw Wishes when my daughter was a baby. She's 13 now. I love the show but I think it's time for a change.
I won't be watching it in YouTube I'll wait and see it when we get there but I'm sure we won't be disappointed.

I watched Wishes live last year, and watched Happily Ever After on video last night (have to wait til August to watch live) Thought it was much better than Wishes
