Universal Express Unlimited

We are going as a large group and most will have Express passes as part of a RPR stay but one will not. I've looked at the Universal site and the only options for the Express ticket are "Will call" and "Ticket window pickup".

I don't really want to have to queue twice as the window queues can be enormous, does anyone know if it is possible to buy actual passes rather than an e-one?

Are you able to add your name
on to one of the rpr bookings, can have 5 registered per room, even if you don’t plan on staying in the room.

There are 6 of us and the price of 2 extra Express passes for the 6th person is cheaper than booking another room.

Are the express tickets ID specific or could you “share” one?

They changed last year from photo passes to showing the key card to your room.

Edit: Just to agree with the post below, they are now taking your photo at the entrance to most of the rides to check the same person is using the key card each time. (Here now).

See my comment on the other related thread but they take your photo at each ride to check you aren't sharing passes now.

You can buy the passes in the parks, there are several kiosks to do so. You will need to decide if advanced purchase is cheaper or not though and weigh up options. If you are there early enough and depending on the day and time of year you might not need to queue long.
