Mobile BA Fly Drive and Tolls

We have a British Airways fly drive this year, so I'm guessing the car will be from Avis. Anyone know if it's the same system as Alamo i.e. just drive through the tolls and it automatically activates the Sunpass

we had a BA flydrive last year and we had the surpass. There was a box mounted in the car so we were able to just drive through to activate it.

Hi,

Yes we were with Avis/BA last year they told us pretty much the first toll you go through if you decide to take the Sunpass route you automatically opt-in.

There was a box in the car which was switched off, we did turn it on by flicking the switch to on. I don’t think this was necessary though because they do number plate recognition now.
