Hotels near Utilita Arena, Birmingham

We have booked up to go to a concert at the Utilita Arena, Birmingham in the summer and are looking for recommendations for hotels within walking distance, not looking for luxury just somewhere to sleep!

Any advice would be very welcome.

There’s a premier inn right close by, on broad street.

We’ve stayed at the Ibis Styles after a concert. About a ten minute walk along the canal.

There are loads of hotels within walking distance of there and the prices vary massively dependent on what's going on in Brum. Do you have a short list or any that you've been looking at?

What night of the week are you visiting? There are certain hotels that I would avoid on Broad Street on a Friday and Saturday night.

Last year DD and I stayed at the holiday inn express Birmingham city centre when we had a concert. There were a few other chain places right by it as well. We got a train there and hotel was easily walkable from the station and the arena
