Which Haven to use as a base for surrounding area

Can anyone recommend a good haven to use as a base for the surrounding area/activities?

Last month we stayed at a haven for the first time, using the super cheap haven hideaway! Cost just £119 for 7 nights at Haggerston Castle.

It'll just be for me & DW. We won't be using the on site activities. Just want a site with good localish (about hour max driving) places to visit.
At Haggerston we took my mother so couldn't go out doing walks & hills. So it ended up being a few minor seaside towns, Holy island (very blowy!) & a day out to Edinburgh. This time it'll just be us!

The Norfolk ones are a great base. We love Caister but have visited the others and they are all nice. Lots to see and do in Norfolk. The Lakeland one is a great location too.

If you liked the Haggerston area, Iím just back from the Berwick Upon Tweed site. Great base, walking distance to Berwick Upon Tweed town and the railway station (about 50 mins on train to Newcastle). We booked through Caravans4Hire as it worked out cheaper than Haven.
