Tickets from WDW website...
We’re off site but plan on getting magic bands. We’ve bought 21 day tickets from WDW website and have a voucher for them but it’s all set up and linked on MDE. What happens next?
Do I need to exchange them somewhere for a plastic card type ticket? Then get the tickets put onto the magic band once we’ve bought them? Or can we skip the plastic tickets and get the voucher info connected to the magic bands when we buy them at Disney springs on the first day?

If you are getting magic bands you don’t need to do anything other than that. You don’t link tickets to magic bands, you link the ticket to MDE and you link the magic band to MDE. Then you are all set.

Ah great. So if we go to Disney springs and get magic bands and get them linked then, we are all set for the first morning in MK to tap in?!

Yes.
If you get and link the Magicbands before your first park day then that’s all you need. You can just tap in at MK using the Magicbands. You don’t need to get the plastic cards.

Found this out last year - previously had to complete the process with a brief trip to Will Call but they removed that step!
