Its a shame you were feeling ill but Im pleased you enjoyed it anyway & it ended up being exactly what you planned.
Thank you. It really went well

Im not sure about the hotel. I wanted to go to a beach cafe when I last went in 1986 Guess what. It was no longer there

That very last photo is an absolute treasure. What a lovely day (minus thumb and throat)
Thank you for commenting on this one. Thanks for reading

This sounds like a really nice thing to do for the day. Your choice of hotel looked good and suited everybodys needs. A lot of your holiday matches my early plans for next year so Im picking up lots of tips.
Appreciate your honest views. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you it was a lovely hotel. Good luck with your plans

What a idyllic day, the weather looks so beautiful, I am so glad it panned out how you hoped.

I cried reading about how lucky you felt to be there and how all the sacrifices are worth it. Beautiful words and so, so true.

You did so well to keep going amidst feeling rough with your throat, that Ice cream must have felt bliss when you ate it.
Delighted you enjoyed The SandPearl, we are off next month for our second stay there and have to admit that pool is such a relaxing place to just let the world pass you by.

As with Collybird above- moments like these really do seem so much more special after all the efforts made to actually get there.
Fab beach day

Great report of a lovely day. Love the Sandpearl, we are heading back in October this year for a couple of nights, staying anywhere else in Clearwater wouldnt feel right. Ive attached a picture of a chap we met in the Sandpearl on our last trip but one, recognise him? Really lovely person and was happy to have a picture and chat with us.
