great report

as i have said in this thread, we were in Efteling in Aug and it was great, it out did DLP in every aspect, it out disney'ed disney

reading your report it did come back the lack of food places, we had Thai tofu curry and rice / noodles at then place below the Pagode ride twice, one was our first night, we also had a Domino's pizza ( very easy online and worked well ) delivered to the Efteling hotel on one night

Great report on a lovely trip that you’ll both remember forever. Much as I love DLP, especially for the ease of walking from the onsite hotels to the village and between parks etc, I don’t think we’ll visit again until all the new things are built in the studios.

In the meantime I definitely need to look into EP. I can’t believe DS hasn’t come across this with all his rollercoaster/YouTube watching, but it would have to involve alternative accommodation to the teepees

Happy planning for your next trip, I’ll keep an eye out for it

Thank you both, seems like a long time ago now but this was still our last trip away The lack of wider food options was the one weakness we found in Efteling but what a great park and Europapark is just a great place with endless attractions and plenty of onsite hotel choice too.

Since this we’ve had to cancel DDs dream of a California trip, booked and cancelled Europapark again and a WDW attempt too. Currently hoping for a Florida trip and the inevitable dining report next January
