Impact of Half Marathon Weekend
Just discovered that the Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend falls at the end of our upcoming trip. This is a non-park trip for us so not concerned if parks are busy, but would appreciate your thoughts/experiences on impact elsewhere outside of WDW bubble, eg restaurants, outlets, traffic on I4 and 192 (we are staying on Hwy 27). We're due to fly out of Tampa on evening of Sunday 23rd. Should we expect it to be busier than normal and allow more time to get there?

I think the impact on areas outside WDW would be relatively low. I’d think you may see a few ‘princesses’ who have just run grabbing breakfast / lunch after the runs. I don’t think the difference will be massive though - lots of people fly in for the weekend and don’t even leave the bubble.
