Mobile Universal Gate Ready e-ticket - ok?

For the first time we’ll not be buying 14 day tickets for Universal as it doesn’t make sense to spend the extra money. Instead we’re going for three day hoppers but these are gate ready email tickets. Are these ok or has anyone had any issues at the gate with these? Thanks!

You didn’t say where you got them but we got email tickets last year from Visit Orlando and they were fine.

Thanks. They’re from Orlando Attractions, who we normally use. Yesterday I read on here home printed tickets don’t tend to scan and wondered if anyone had experienced this.

We got 3 day hoppers for Universal from arestravel.com this year. Absolutely no problem - we didn't need to print them just scanned them from our phones on entry. Really easy.

Oh, that’s great to hear! Reading about scanning issues made me a bit worried - really disliked the thought of problems at the gate. Thanks for the help

Also, if you download the app gate ready tickets can be loaded to the e wallet in the app. So you will know they ate 100% all good before you travel.

Only thing I would say is that we tend to buy actual credit card style tickets which fit into the lanyards so that we don't end up with soggy bits of paper from the water rides.

Suggest printing a spare or two.

In SW we have A4 print outs and keep them folded in a ziplock sandwich bag.

That’s a great tip, thank you. Is that the Universal App?

We usually have that type too, carry them in a lanyard. This was another worry about the email tickets but it sounds like we can add them to an app that will avoid the tickets getting ruined 😊

Yes. Universal orlando app. Then open the menu and go to wallet. And add tickets or passes.

We had it on the app but took printouts as well. Both worked fine.
