I got through last night and they said they are going to reload my booking on to the system then wait 24 hours to choose my seats. We will see. 😕

Just trying to get to them is a nightmare! Then some of the call centre team I can barely understand 😔 I’m still no further forward. I just keep getting passed from one person to another 😡
I finally got an answer although not sure if it was to fob me off. I was told it should be available on Friday and if not to ring them back then... ?! Edited at 05:16 PM. |

Booked with TUI twice before without any issues. But this time doesn’t seem right!

They have been updating their website, the cruise side of it anyway which may be causing intermittent problems

Odd they wouldn't have the seat mappings up though... They only use the 787 for these routes so it won't be a different layout as they'll only use the 'long-haul' variant 787 meaning 2-3-2 PE and 3-3-3 eco.
The 'short-haul' 787 is 3-3-3 throughout the entire aircraft.. however PE is known only as extra leg room, however this cabin is only used on short-haul routes and not the Orlando 🙂 Edited at 12:47 AM. |

So latest news. I’ve been told.
They are uploading all 2021 flights manually. I should get an email when I can choose my extra leg room seat. I’m going to check daily because I’m still not convinced as I’ve got a different answer each time I’ve rang. 🤨 |

Tui only use the 787-8 and not the 787-9 from Bristol (except in a few rare cases but usually only on a flight out) due to the length of the runway which might help with seat selection.

I'm going to check daily too. I just don't believe anything of what I've been told so far.

Heads up
Heads up people, we checked our flights at 6.30pm and nothing, just checked again now and the seat map is available. Worth keep checking your bookings too as I've not had an email at all!
Thanks Matt |
