Had an aubergine and mozzarella to use up so found this Aubergine and Mozzarella Bake tonight. Surprisingly tasty for so few ingredients.

Rest of the family had this Chicken Korma. DD made this in Food Tech and came home raving about it. It tastes really authentic.

We are having chilli and rice with salad then home made peach pie
First time I've actually baked anything from scratch using the villa oven it smells amazing

Tonite it was fish tacos with garlic and tomato Olive Garden dressing
And water melon sorbet which was amazing light fresh and also just a slightly sweet taste perfect after fish

so this has been our food for the last couple of days. sous vide beef shorrib. 144f for 3 days then finish off in a blazing hot oven.

what was meant to be a beef shortrib join for 5/6 ended up being just for two. so we had leftovers yesterday!




and i took all the fat i trimmed off it and boiled it down in a pan. i now have a tub of dripping. tonight's home made oven chips are gonna taste *fantastic*


tonight is going to be some spicy chicken tenders i dug out the freezer, and some fries using ATKs method (seriously, best chips you will ever make!) but using some of the beef fat i rendered...
