Compact camera suggestion

I'm looking for recommendations for a point and shoot camera. It's for work purposes where each photograph must be time and date stamped automatically.

My Panasonic DMCTZ60 has the option, however it is beginning to play up!

I've bought a Panasonic DMCTZ80 but it only allows the time and date option after the photos are taken by selecting the photos individually. This isn't usable as I on average take 500 photos a day.

Can anyone point me in the direction of a camera you have had good experience with?

I've always had great results from both the Canon Ixus and Powershot models. No idea if they do what you want, but I would imagine they do 👍🏻

I’ve just bought a Sony Cybershot as my Canon Ixus gave up the ghost and it has the time and date facility. I’m trialling it this week.

I have a canon G7X mark 2. It takes brilliant photos, as good as my DSLR.

If you want to shoot video as well I have a Sony ZV1 as my smaller camera and it’s excellent quality video. Another alternative is the Sony RX 100 vii which is more expensive and largely the same internal parts but more photo focussed.
If you want top quality photos and don’t care about video, the APSC sensor cameras are the best in compacts. For example the Fuji ones.
But it all depends on what you want to spend. If you take 500 photos a day and quality is important and photos the main driver, I’d definitely go APS-C sensor compact. The Fuji X100 cameras take some cracking photos but expensive and fixed focal length.
