Cape May Cafe (for breakfast)
Sci Fi Dine in

Also planning on getting food from:

Ronto Roasters

Once manipulated, the UKs figures for the last week are worst than most of Europe and the USA for the direction they are heading. Ours are going up. (but our death rate is low, which to me is the key thing to look at)
Yeah, poorly worded on my part, I haven't avoided news entirely, I've refused to seek and obsess over it though.
It's clear that the death rate is now the key metric, but having had cases as a precurser to deaths until vaccine rollout, I can understand them getting twitchy as cases rise, but at some point they have to change mentality and go off deaths.

I wouldn't be shocked if August gets the go ahead. I think extending everything for a month gives them more time to vaccinate people, then they can open the corridor up and I think it'll give people who've had both vaccines the chance of more freedom. I go end of August, I think it'll still be fine.

We're still in there people, if the Indian variant stops driving numbers up and the young'uns turn out for vaccination, then we might still be on. The airline industry are ramping up the pressure. If we don't go in august then we'll probably look at 2022.
As much as I applaud your optimism I’m surprised no one has mentioned the pattern we have seen time and time again during this ..
1 country/ area has another wave or ‘ripple’ and when that starts dying down it picks up elsewhere and so on and so forth .. it seems like a never ending cycle

I just love the breads/dips board. When we stayed at AKL we would pop down to the bar for a late lunch just for it before heading out again.

I go September but I’m now starting to think this is not going to happen , there’s always something new and they keep changing the goal post , next it will be we all have to have a booster sadly I’m loosing my positivity in it all , I get annoyseeing sporting events going on , if they had stopped everything and had complete closed borders I believe we would be in a much better place than we are now 😡

Honestly, I don't think there is any chance that we will be going in August, other countires will not be concentrating on our death rate so much as our infection rate which to be honest is going through the roof.
