So for Manchester to mco week commencing 5th September 2022, they added some reward seats on the 5th (they have since been taken), they then added seats on the 6th and then there’s been nothing added (checking seat spy regularly). We have been desperately waiting but it’s hard to be flexible when there is nothing around the dates we’re waiting for. Hope you’re right about the Black Friday sale but not very hopeful. We may end up changing to aer lingus now they’ve started flying from man. Virgins flight prices go up weekly.

I got those 5th September seats (EC) Now waiting for our return date to become available. There's more September availability from Heathrow if you're happy to travel.

Ahh well done in getting your flights.👍🏽 The 6th is still just a little early for us or we’d snap them up. We’ve weighed it up and the cost of us to get down south and back with little ones and stop overs, taxis or paying for parking, for 8 of us, we just won’t be saving much. I think that doing LHR to MIA will also be a headache. It’d be easier without little ones, but I guess we can’t leave them at home 🙈

Seems to be the same generally with BA too. Very limited reward availability, even at times where we'd normally expect it.

They have LHR to MCO, so no need to fly to Miami unless you actually want to. However, if the travelling to LHR is an issue in the first place, it's possibly not worth it. We're in the Midlands, so it doesn't make a huge difference, but we prefer Manchester. They have been really slow at releasing September reward flights this year, so there is still a chance they'll load more on. It's playing the waiting game that's hard though. I actually have flights booked with BA too as found a price I was happy with in case reward flights didn't appear. I booked them as a package so just paid a £150 deposit for all 4 flights (total, not each), which I'll lose if I can get both sets of reward flights, but it'll still be a lot cheaper than full cash flights with any airline.
