I'm so glad I ordered a box of masks last night on from Amazon , we've just had an alert for daughter to wear a mask daily from tomorrow, all communal areas , basically everywhere on site except the classroom or eating lunch , first thing she said cos she's sarcastic "oh great spots again", she really had bad breakouts when wearing masks bless her 😥

DD is at a special school and those that can wear them have been encouraged to do so all the way through. They have had quite a few cases and trying to control it.

My daughter is exempt as she has autism but most of the time she will wear one cos she's embarrassed bless her when kids ask why she's not got a mask on, I'm hoping she will be okay from tomorrow, her school has about 1600 pupils there's always kids off 🙈, my daughter caught covid shortly before October half term

Yep just had an email informing all pupils and staff they need masks daily from Tuesday. No big deal, just hope it doesnít lead to closures but to be honest I can see it happening a week before Christmas holidays.

Why do you think schools will close a week early?
I really hope not, our kids have missed enough school over the past 20 months or so.

Makes sense to have masks in schools. Our largest portion of unvaccinated population, where cases are highest, and where Omicron will spread easily.

Let's get second jabs into them too.

It's from when they were bubbling as a class. They tried to stop them mixing 'too' much. So anywhere they met kids not from their class it was mask on time.
