Applied for a refund, nothing yet
Also amended date to Feb next year so worse case could possibly use at a later date
Will be getting PCR elsewhere anyway

My DH has asked for a refund and we have booked a PCR with Randox, they were cheaper.

He goes on Saturday to Spain so we didn’t want to wait for a reply email.

I've had an email from them offering me the chance to upgrade to the pcr and apparently will cost less than cancelling and re-booking. I've clicked the link and it says they cost £25 - I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not? , I paid £15 for the 2 day LFT, so that would make them £40 each

Thanks for posting, just checked and we've had the email too. It was addressed to me, but says I can order more than one. I think it's a good deal.

I bought mine from Vivo Clinic and they sent me an email saying I could upgrade to their pcr test and they’d deduct the £14.90 I’d paid for the LFT. However their pcr is £74 so I’d still have to pay about £65 as they add on express delivery of £6.50 and I have to send them back via Royal Mail. We return on the 31st December so this is no use whatsoever as even if I put it in the post straight away it’s not going to go very far what with New Years Day and bank holiday! So looks like we’ll have to book one at the airport for £55 so still cheaper. That’s if we’re still going that is, will see what Biden announces tomorrow 🤞🏻
