We’re ok. Mums lost a fence. But we just had to go out and in the mile or so we travelled we just have seen at least 20
Large trees downed. |

We woke to the news that all Transport for Wales trains are cancelled until further notice. So poor Peter has had to take a 2-hour bus journey to work and will be late.
Spoke to our lovely Big Issue seller who didn’t know about the trains, and was able to give her details and bus fare, as she had already paid for a train ticket. No damage here, thank goodness. Not sure if our local Christmas light switch on will happen tonight though!

It was pretty windy here. A very large old tree is blocking the main road not too far from us and the roof has been damaged on the stables at the farm where my daughter works. Thankfully no one hurt and the horses are fine.

I'm in South Yorkshire was windy in the night but the new patio furniture cover stayed intact , I expected that to have gone. Woke at 6am to about an inch of snow, the in-laws live at wortley which is only about 20 minutes away but surrounded by moors and high up they have about 5 or 6 inch of snow... Had to dig a path for the dog to go out this morning, no snow now but winds picking up again my phone says they will be about 40mph this afternoon, in night it sounded really bad with it being quiet

Here in North Yorkshire it was extremely windy and rainy overnight and into this morning, but we appear to have escaped the worst of the weather and all intact, although I have seen on FB that there are some trees down in the local area. I know much of North Yorkshire didn't fare so well though.

Just had a WhatApp message from DD. They have been staying just north of Dundee and are blocked in by fallen trees. No power and they have just had to walk miles with the dogs for signal on their phones. They should be going home on Monday so let's see how that works out
