Several years ago we did a back to back cruise starting and finishing in San Juan. We flew out and back via Miami. We had two nights at the Marriott Resort on Atlantic Beach before the cruise and got a cab to the port.

We did the same as the poster above - flew to Miami and then on from there to San Juan.

My step mom is Puerto Rican and we flew from Tampa & Orlando, or as others have said Miami. I believe there are direct flights from New York as well.
We want to do a southern Caribbean cruise to ‘finish off’ the carribean islands we’d still like to visit, and most of those go from San Juan - we were thinking we’d make it a two centre holiday - either New York then thr caribbean or Orlando and caribbean. |

We have taken three Disney cruises from San Juan but always from Orlando. One was Orlando Charlotte and the other two Orlando Miami. We only flew one way as we stayed on the ship to do back to backs which went back to Port Canaveral.
The last one in February we were up graded to first class for free with flat bed seats and lovely food and drinks.
