Netflix The Legend of Cocaine Island

Anyone else watched this? I thought it was very entertaining and fascinating.

Spoilers below!

The thing that struck me most was that Hyden (the main guy) was incredibly lucky to come out of it alive. If he had found the drugs, and if Carlos and Dee were for real, then he very likely would have been killed by one of them for the drugs. An idiot and a lucky idiot at that. He got off very lightly in the end for someone who plunged themselves into the world of crime without an ounce of common sense.

Also, how much of a terrible person was the wife? So shallow and materialistic. At the start we thought she was going to reflect back on what a bad person she was, but nope she was just going to cry about how the recession meant she lost her 3 car garage.
