AP hotel discount

Hi,
My dd wants to buy AP, we have no experience in this and we are wondering what hotel discount available? It says upto 20% but does it depend on hotel or time of year? Have all guest got to be pass holders?
Any tips for a first timer?

Which pass are you looking at? The passholder can book 2 rooms but has to be there at checkin, others in the room don't need an AP but obviously room only won't include tickets. Infinity pass gives Upto 50% discount but it's often cheaper to book on Expedia etc or even a package can be cheaper

There's only a certain amount of rooms available with discount

Dd is unsure which one to buy? She�s hoping to buy one for her trip in August but she hasn�t booked anything yet.

I agree with the poster above, it can often be cheaper to book on Expedia. If not everyone is a pass holder then you might want to book a package for the people needing tickets and add the pas holder to the room at check in. We often found that was cheaper than room only then buying extra tickets.
